For grins and giggles, I put together a contrast of our Catalina 27
vs the Freedom 39:
Compared to our previous boat Kitty Cat, Spartan is:

divide by zero error on stays and shrouds. Spartan doesn't have any.
2.5x the sail area
1/3rd the number of winches
4x the horsepower
10x the tankage, except holding which is only 2x.
3x the batteries
Sleeps the same number of people
same age
10x the price
